US Citizenship Test App Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vylora Studio ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the US Citizenship Test mobile application (the "App"). The App is an educational study tool for users preparing for the U.S. citizenship test and related interview practice.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
We may collect information that you choose to provide, including:
- Contact support information: your name, email address, contact reason, and message when you submit a support or feedback request through the App.
- Practice settings: choices such as interface language, content language, selected test version, location/state settings, theme preferences, notification preference, and similar app settings.
- Practice activity stored on your device: progress, bookmarks, wrong-question history, mock test history, mock interview history, and related learning statistics.
Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we and our service providers may collect certain information automatically, including:
- Device and app information: device model, manufacturer, operating system version, app version, package or bundle identifier, locale, timezone, and similar technical information.
- Usage and analytics information: app opens, screen views, onboarding completion, practice starts, mock test completion, mock interview completion, support submissions, language settings, selected test version, scores, pass/fail status, and other high-level app usage events.
- Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data: where ads are shown, Google Mobile Ads may process identifiers, device information, approximate location, ad performance data, and interaction data to serve, measure, and improve ads.
- Notification identifiers: if you opt in to push notifications, OneSignal may process a push token or subscription identifier and related device information so notifications can be delivered.
- Remote configuration and update information: Firebase Remote Config and Google Play services may process app version, device, and technical information to provide configuration values, app update checks, and asset delivery.
Microphone and speech recognition
The App may request microphone permission for mock interview or speech practice features. Audio is used to support speech recognition on your device or through operating system speech services. We do not intentionally store, sell, or use your microphone recordings for advertising. Speech recognition availability and processing may depend on your device, operating system, and platform provider settings.
2. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the App, including lessons, practice questions, mock tests, interview practice, progress tracking, bookmarks, and app settings.
- To save your learning progress and preferences on your device.
- To respond to support requests, bug reports, privacy requests, feedback, and content issue reports.
- To understand high-level app usage and improve performance, reliability, design, content, and user experience.
- To provide app updates, remote configuration, asset delivery, and compatibility checks.
- To request and manage notification permission and deliver push notifications if you opt in.
- To show, limit, measure, and improve ads, including interstitial or rewarded ads where enabled.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, protect users, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
3. Local Storage on Your Device
A significant part of the App works locally on your device. Your practice progress, bookmarks, wrong answers, mock test history, mock interview history, app settings, and downloaded or delivered app content may be stored locally using device storage technologies such as a local database and preferences storage.
Local data usually remains on your device unless you delete it, clear the App's data, uninstall the App, or use any in-app reset option that may be available. Local data is not automatically associated with a user account because the App does not currently require account registration.
4. Information We Share
We do not sell your personal information. We may share or allow service providers to process information in the following situations:
- Service providers: we use third-party services to provide analytics, advertising, push notifications, remote configuration, contact message handling, app updates, and asset delivery.
- Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, us, or our service providers.
- Business transfers: if the App or our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction or consent: we may share information when you ask us to do so or when you give permission.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services. These services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies:

6. Ads and Consent Choices
The App may display ads through Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your region and applicable law, you may be asked to make choices about personalized ads, non-personalized ads, cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies through a consent form. The App attempts to request ads only when the applicable consent state allows it.
You may also be able to limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier through your device settings. These controls are provided by your device platform and may vary by operating system version.
7. Push Notifications
Push notifications are optional. If you choose to enable notifications, the App and OneSignal may process a push token, notification subscription identifier, device information, and notification interaction data to send and manage notifications.
You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or in any notification controls provided inside the App.
8. Contact Support Messages
If you submit a support message, we collect the information you enter and basic technical metadata so we can respond, troubleshoot, investigate content issues, and improve the App. Support messages may include any personal information you choose to include in the message field. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.

10. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
- Local app data: remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the App, or use an available reset option.
- Support messages: may be retained for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, protect against abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Analytics, ads, notifications, and platform data: retention is handled by the relevant third-party provider according to its own policies and settings.
11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent for certain personal information.

Some advertising or analytics activities may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or similar terms under certain state privacy laws.
You can use device privacy controls, advertising identifier controls, consent forms where available, and in-app settings where available to manage certain advertising and tracking choices. You may also contact us to make a privacy request.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International Processing
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
15. Educational and Government-Affiliation Notice
The App is an independent educational study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.
