Crispy IPTV Player Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 11, 2026

Crispy IPTV Player ("Crispy IPTV Player", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app may collect or process, how that data is used, and when it may be shared.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

When you use the app, you may choose to provide:
  • Playlist information, including M3U URLs, Xtream credentials, EPG URLs, user agent strings, and referer values.
  • Local playlist files and backup files you import or export.
  • Playback-related preferences and settings, such as appearance, playback, subtitle, EPG, and reminder settings.
  • Parental control data, including PIN-related credentials and category rules.
  • Favorites, watch history, reminders, and playback progress stored on the device.
  • Support messages or other information you send to us.

1.2 Information collected automatically

The app and the third-party services it uses may automatically collect or process:
  • App and device information, such as app version, build number, operating system version, device model, language, and approximate region.
  • Advertising-related identifiers and signals, including the Android Advertising ID where available.
  • Analytics information, such as app opens, screen views, session duration, and feature usage.
  • Crash and diagnostic information, such as stack traces, logs, app state, and performance data.
  • Push notification data, such as device or push tokens and delivery or interaction events, if notifications are enabled.
  • Remote configuration and update-check data needed to load app settings, ad settings, and app update information.

1.3 Information from third-party content sources

The app is a player. It does not provide or host channels, playlists, or streams. When you add a source, the app sends requests to the provider or server you selected so it can fetch and play content. That provider may receive information such as the URL you entered, the user agent, the referer, your IP address, and other network data needed to deliver the stream or guide data.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:
  • Provide playback, playlist management, EPG, reminder, backup, and parental control features.
  • Save and restore your app preferences and local library.
  • Show ads and measure ad performance.
  • Detect crashes, fix bugs, and improve app stability.
  • Check for app updates and load remote app configuration.
  • Send push notifications when you enable them.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and content rules.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or disclose information only in the following cases:
  • With Google Firebase services used by the app, including Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config.
  • With Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
  • With OneSignal to deliver push notifications, if notifications are enabled.
  • With the content provider or server you choose when you import playlists, EPG data, or stream URLs.
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the app, our users, or others.

4. Storage and retention

Most of the app data you create is stored locally on your device. This includes playlists, preferences, watch history, favorites, reminders, parental control data, and related app state.

We have configured the app so its local databases, shared preferences, and files are excluded from Android backup and device transfer. That means your local app data stays on the device unless you export it or transfer it through a feature you choose to use.

Data handled by Google, AdMob, Firebase, or OneSignal is retained according to those providers' own policies and settings.

We keep local data only as long as needed for app functionality or until you delete it by clearing app data, uninstalling the app, removing the relevant items inside the app, or using an export/import workflow where applicable.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data handled by the app. Network requests use the security features provided by Android, the app libraries, and the third-party services involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

Depending on your device and region, you may be able to:
  • Disable or limit personalized ads in your Google and device settings.
  • Clear app data or uninstall the app to remove locally stored information.
  • Stop using push notifications by denying notification permission or disabling them in system settings.
  • Remove playlists, favorites, history, reminders, or parental control data from within the app where those controls are available.

7. Children

The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will review the request and delete the data where appropriate.

8. Third-party services

The app uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies and terms. Those services may process information independently of us:

You should review the privacy practices of those services and of any content source you add to the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and publish the updated version in the app or wherever the policy is hosted.
